Moving from a command and control paradigm means recreating how we think about leadership.

The top down hierarchical way to manage has caused a lot of problems. We need to find a better way.

The traditional way to manage keeps control at the top. Information flows from the top toward the bottom, with little opportunity for those at the bottom to influence the overall direction.

I liked this quote by Adam Grant which suggests a new paradigm of leadership is possible.
